"These guys graciously held me down in a big way. My brother and I were riding to bear mountain from where we live in Brooklyn when a little mishap at a gas station left me with a broken left side rearset. I quick search on yelp showed this shop to be the closest repair option. I limped the bike a few miles with one peg missing and arrived at the shop safely.
I assumed that they would not have an exact replacement part in stock, but the guy was extremely helpful and spent a good bit of time searching through bins of used parts with me. Eventually, we cobbled together a few pieces that could bolt up to my bike well enough and to get me home.
In short, the guys were friendly, communicative, and even though I was up shit's creek without a paddle, they didn't gouge my wallet just cause they could. In fact, my bill was about half of what I was hoping to pay.

I went in with the most unusual request: "I'd like my not-very-well-maintained dusty Yamaha Road Star warrior 1700 cruiser to be serviced, and ready to be sitting inside a hot shipping container for 8+ weeks to be shipped to the UK! But I'd like that done in 24 hours!" (Yes he thinks I am insane, I know I am insane)
He helped me figure it out. Strong fuel stabilizer. Almost empty tank. WD40 coat to the chrome. He got it shipping ready in a day, ready for the shippers to pick it up!"
